About Our Firm

Calcutt, Rogers & Boynton traces its history to 1934, when Robert B. Murchie opened his law practice in Traverse City, Michigan. We are one of the oldest law firms in the Grand Traverse area. Former members of our law firm have served as state and federal legislators and as judges in our local trial court and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Our law firm is built from a foundation of northern Michigan's most capable and effective attorneys. All of our attorneys are admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and the federal courts.

In addition, our law firm is the only business/defense firm in northern Michigan accepted for charter membership in the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.
